Love & Reconciliation Tarot
Past – Present – Future: follow the story of two people through three cards.
Think of that person—or the love still to come—and choose three cards one at a time.
How to read the Past – Present – Future spread
| Position | Meaning | What to look for in love |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Past | The background and causes behind the relationship | Why you were first drawn together; traces of past conflict or hurt |
| 2. Present | The energy surrounding the relationship now | The current emotional temperature and state of the relationship |
| 3. Future | Where things are heading if the current flow continues | Growth, stagnation, or a turning point |
Rather than reading the three cards separately, look at the direction of change from past to future. A hard card in the past and a bright card in the future tells a story of healing. The reverse is a signal that something needs to change now.
Cards that often appear in love readings
- The Lovers: deep attraction and an important choice—the classic good omen for love.
- Two of Cups: a mutual connection; great for confessions and making up.
- Ten of Cups: emotional fulfillment, marriage, and family.
- Three of Swords: heartbreak; reversed, it signals healing.
- Judgement: a past connection revived—especially meaningful for reunion questions.
Asking about getting back together
For reconciliation questions, the Past card matters most. Look at why you broke up and whether that issue has changed. Judgement, Six of Cups, and Wheel of Fortune often point to a renewed connection, while Eight of Cups or Death often mean it is time to close the chapter for a new beginning.
Selena says: The cards do not decide what someone else feels. Instead, they show what you want in the relationship—and what you can do.
